Handel’s Messiah and Philippians 2:10

“Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Very, very true. That video is really a perfect illustration of what one day we will see when every creature will confess the glory of God.
when i lived in philly in the late 70′s/early 80′s i would often to to the old wannamaker’s department store (bought out by macy’s), especially during Christmas season and they would have this kind of thing the whole Christmas shopping season. it really is incredible when you think about it being in secular macy’s in downtown philadelphia! all those people singing to the Glory of God (sadly many don’t really know Him, they just like classical holiday music).
I thought the same thing Matt, when I heard about the OCP singing at Macy’s. It also surprises me how many people are not aware that the Hallelujah Chorus is merely one song out of the entire oratio of Handel’s Messiah, which depicts the life of Christ in nearly its entirety.
